Laughable

I dont know if its a limitation of the pixel mags format or a business decision by imbibe. But there is no excuse not to make the digital version free with a print subscription. I was given the print edition as a gift and downloaded the app, excited to try it out, only to find no option to link up my subscription, and no explanation in any of the support material or on Imbibes website. Coming from years of happy reading of Wired in print and on tablets, this just seems archaic and capricious.
